Hello there :)

I try to figure out how to replicate a command from RPG Maker 2003 (Store Terrain ID) : The whole idea is to get a Terrain ID variable from coordinates stocked in two other variables (X and Y).

This allows to check the Terrain ID on which every event is located... pretty useful but I can't get to understand how to do it.
I can get the x and y coordinates of an event but I can't understand how to get its ID..!

Any help would be apprecied :)

Get Location Info, on tab 3 of the event commands, will allow you to do this.

Oh my... I'm very confused for asking.

That was really clear but i guess I was on a "Seek for a very precise expression rather than a concept" mode...

Delete thread if needed, or perhaps it will help people searching for those tags...

Have a nice day, thanks for the quick reaction :)

Haven't been on here actively in awhile, project is going strong my biggest issue is the STORY, i'm refining the plot and learning so much i decided to take a writers class to improve even more but the programming and functionality of the game is stepping up nicely!
Hi everyone! Here's what I'm working on today! It's one of the dorms on campus. I know I said I wouldn't use assets but I reused a few things from the cafeteria hehe.

I added a little squish effect when characters change direction to try and make things a bit more lively. Though it's a bit hard to see on the fast moving guys.
