The VisuStella Credits Page plugin states explicitly that the Credits will show up by default in the Main Menu and the title commands window.

It does indeed show up in the commands window - though as I don't want it there I then turned the plugin to false for that.
The plugin command to display the Credits also works on an event.
This tells me that the plugin is installed corretly and not obviously clashing with something.

However, even though the plugin is set to show the Credits in the main menu, it does not appear.
Here is what I have set it to.

Is there something else I need to do?
Thank you.

Check that all VisuStella plugins you are using are both up-to-date and in the correct order.

I quickly checked the page for VisuStella Main Menu Core and it looks like it had an update a few months ago:
Version 1.19: December 15, 2022

  • Compatibility Update!
    • Added compatibility functionality for future plugins.
  • Feature Update!
    • Updated the default Plugin Parameters for 'Command Window List' to include a 'CG Gallery', 'Credits Page', and 'Patch Notes' command.
      • This is for the upcoming VisuStella MZ plugins.
      • Projects with the Main Menu Core already installed will not have this update, but you can copy over the settings from a new project with the following steps:
        • Create a new project. Install Main Menu Core. Open up the new project's 'Command Window List'. Right click the 'cgGallery', 'creditsPage', or 'patchNotes' option(s) and click copy. Go to the target project's Main Menu Core's 'Command Window List' plugin parameter. Paste the command where you want it to go.
Otherwise, if you're using any other, non-VisuStella, plugin(s), it might be a conflict with those. In that case you can try turning off the other plugin(s), save your project to apply Plugin Manager changes, then test.

@caethyril I've checked the order of everything. I have the latest version

As per the website

As per my plugin manager

I have turned off all plugins other than the VS ones, and still nothing shows up.

As it is supposed to show by default, I am assuming that I don't need to do anything in the settings for the main menu, just as I didn't need to do anything to insert it into the title command window.

Just to confirm: the v1.19 update I quoted was for Main Menu Core, not Credits Page. Are you using Main Menu Core?

If so, then as noted in the last 2 bullet points of the update I quoted, you may need to manually update the relevant entry of Main Menu Core's Command Window List plugin parameter:
  • Projects with the Main Menu Core already installed will not have this update, but you can copy over the settings from a new project with the following steps:
    • Create a new project. Install Main Menu Core. Open up the new project's 'Command Window List'. Right click the 'cgGallery', 'creditsPage', or 'patchNotes' option(s) and click copy. Go to the target project's Main Menu Core's 'Command Window List' plugin parameter. Paste the command where you want it to go.
Otherwise, screenshot(s) of your Plugin Manager may be helpful, to confirm plugin versions.

Ah, sorry, I thought you were referring to the Credits Page plugin. I am using the Main Menu Core, so will follow the steps you mention.

Thank you.

EDIT
That was the issue. Everything is now working just as I would wish.
Once again thank you for your help.

Damn. We’ve gotten so close to 0 reports, 0 approvals a few times over the past couple weeks. Does it matter? No. Is it realistic. No? Do I rely on your reports and want everyone to keep posting. Yes. Do I 100% games? …sigh… Yes.

Ah yes, all three of my moods all at once.
