Hi everyone, I've been meaning to do this a while now for my project in regards to credits and such.
As a huge thanks to all those who have helped me thus far developing my project I wanted to add credits to the game's introduction but I am needing a little help in how I should span it out.

I've considered doing sort of a Half-life 1 sort of introduction having your character taking a ride in a car/train etc going through city streets while in the background occurances are happening giving you a brief tour of what a hellhole it is-while credits are given. What I am stuck with is how to present the credits and for what purposes they have done and in what order.

I would call myself the game developer? Director? I want to mention made with MV and crediting the actual software developers and in what order to name from artists, to scripters. Should I mention my name for every aspect I have worked on such as story, art, direction etc? How should I consider what is needed to be shown and what isn't? Just thought I'd ask.

I really don't know, so I'm kind of curious about that too.
I would simply go with order of Importance/Weight of the work done, and who I feel deserve being Top to Bottom.

By doing a quick google search, I can see the order is often Producers/Designers > Artists/Programmers > audio > others.
But I don’t know if there is a general form to follow. In some games you will see each names only once, in others like the Metal Gear series… you’ll just see “Hideo Kojima” everywhere.

As a personal note, I just keep myself for last no matter my role in things, it’s somewhat my way of saying: “Thanks, without all of you listed above I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this”.

Doing the Credits is not a Mechanic as such.

I noticed in a lot of games that sometimes the roles of the game staff just have there names blurted out- but no actual role in what contribution mentioned. I definately would feel happier mentioning the actual credentials for what has been contributed. I think you're research into the order on what development types to be listed is very likeable, I think I'll follow this guide. Mentioning those who helped you first before yourself is a very courtious thing to do- like for example : " Bob- lead artist, Created by- Me" etc.

Ian Campbell, the creator of Bleed and Bleed 2, actually did it in a pretty clever way: he had two people to credit and didn't want either of them to be prioritised, so he made the order they appear in random.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
