I love doing art and I'm doing a bunch of things outside of work since I'm working on my RPG and another project, so I figured I should post stuff!

Some concepts and illustrations for a graphic novel I've been working on:

Hope you like them! I'll post more things hopefully...I think this would be a good place to put concept sketches for my RPG as i work on it...

I thankfully accept your likes! They are delicious!

Super sketchy map planning for the RPG i'm working on. The process isn't always pretty! I'm planning on making completely original tiles for the game, so I use this as a way to figure out what I'm going to need and what I'm going to make. The next step is making a list of the pieces that can be reused, that can be autotiled, and that are special to this room. Not worked out on a grid because it's just an idea sketch, but this is today's project, haha. The top left idea pictures are going to be cleaned and quickly colored for tone and color ideas fun

Making game assets is probably the only applicable thing from my day job to this particular personal project. But I expect this to be super time intensive ahhh

@Juliastorybored Ah, thank you! I love doing characters >0< Being able to do fun characters is why I want to make an RPG

    @shushcat Thanks so much!

Nothing much this week--I've been really busy writing :S I have some sketches but I haven't scanned anything in yet.

For now have some location painting for practice, definitely still a WIP:

Thanks for the really kind words you guys! I appreciate it :)

Thanks! I like details that tell little stories. They're my favorite things to add when I'm doing a big illustration.

Here's a dump of stuff. I've been really busy these past few weeks (working on non-RPG Maker games haha) so just have a mix of things.

Concepty stuff for the graphic novel I'm working on:

I'm going to finish up the game I'm currently crunching on by the end of this week and might post some of the stuff I had to do for that one up here. But for now, here's what I got!

Love the fanart ^_^ (especially for IX!) Which style do you prefer, if at all? Painting or more stylized cartoon form? You're great at both, but which one
do you find appeals to what your aiming for?

    Thanks so much!

I actually really like doing both. I love drawing characters in a really cartoony style (maybe because my day job requires me to paint a lot of realistic stuff, or paint other peoples designs), but I also really enjoy painting. I'm getting way more into painting backgrounds though, which is kind of what I prefer. Cartoonier characters, painted backgrounds. So that it looks kind of like an animated movie!

They probably are! Haha, I love the both of them so much.

Anyway, sorry I've been out for a while. A mix of really important work responsibilities and chipping away at my Graphic Novel, which requires a lot less fun work I can show off and more storyboarding and writing. A lot of work on my RPG has been along these lines too, designing tile sets and coding battle systems.

Have a couple of things just so I continue to post:
