cRPG maker for RPG MAKER (needs translation)

Hi all

So I got in contact with the developer for the game lord of the seal on steam who linked me to this website. I can't tell if this is for MV, VX Ace, or whatever else, but this is of huge interest to me as I would love to do a first person crawler with the RPG maker engine, it would seem like a great idea, at least to me.

Agh you are right indeed, I hope they put MV on sale soon, I would design a cRPG with RPG maker in a heartbeat.

I'm confused. Can't you already make cRPGs in RPG Maker? You're not stuck with the default mechanics.

I have no clue how one would change the top down perspective down to the first person view, also it's been a while since I've used RPG maker so I need to see how you can screw around with mechanics, but this plugin basically allows for an etrian oddesy style game

Oh! You want a first person perspective? It's still possible (I've seen at least one plug-in for MV which allows you to create first person dungeon crawlers), but it's time consuming. I haven't been able to test it as I don't have MV, I posted it here in case it could be useful to anyone. Wasn't sure if anyone here maybe knew Japanese so they could translate the comments in the script as to understand it better, thats all.

Oh. Well, in that case, I think I'm going to close this topic, and I think maybe to encourage you to post in Plugin Support, asking if someone can translate the comments. I'm not sure where else something like that should go. But, as it is a Plugin related query, it should be somewhere in the Javascript boards.
