I started a resource thread back in mid-2012 when I was still an active member for VX/VX-Ace resources, but a return means a new thread, I guess. For those of you who don't know me, I was ( and still ) am, known for my gorgeous non-parallaxed maps, and I've written a few tutorials in the VX section as to how you can achieve similar effects, though the tutorial can apply to VXAce as well.

Since I love pixel art, I've decided to share some of my resources with you guys. I hope to go commercial with my work once the quality of my current works improve. All my resources are available for both commercial and free RM-games. =)

    Non-Commercial: Free for non-commercial use.

    Commercial: Free for commercial use.

Repost: You may repost my work as long as you give proper credit and a link back to this topic.

Maker Required: RPGMaker VX, RPGMaker VXAce. Could probably work with XP too.

That's some wonderful work you have there, Luchi. ^^ And it's such a pleasure to see you active again! We need more people with such wonderful artistic and mapping talents as yours in the community. :)

@Luchino It's mostly just an attempt to get a consistent format going to make it very clear to users. I know it's probably wishful thinking that this becomes standard on resource topics, but one can dream, and maybe with enough nagging from me it can happen. :D Anyway, enough taking attention from your beautiful images.

Awesome work!  I especially love the parallaxes.  The Space & Planet ones are my favorite

    WIP of a sunset.

Done in MSPaint while I was at work. xD

I'll have to invest in (another) graphics tablet ( my Wacom was stolen ) if I want to speed up my work, since I tend to do everything with a mouse.

Because I've cancelled development on my other project, the resources shown the screens below will soon be available for public domain.

I intend to release a more polished set of resources for commercial use one day. =) Since I'm not too sure if the work in the screens above is good enough to be sold.

I do enjoy working on the parallaxes the most. Pixel art clouds are fun to do. ^^ But I'm doing some battlers as well. Will start uploading them as soon as I get home from work ( 8-5 hours are >< but pixel art is strangely soothing once I get into the 'Flow' ).

Battlers are a mix of pixel-fied VX/VX-Ace, splices or even animations. I think the VX Cockatrice is my favourite so far. The colours are <3. The large slime needs a bit of work though. My blending didn't turn out quite right, lol.

    I do mecha/sci-Fi as well.

Maybe I'll do some MV battlebacks when I get the chance

It's wonderful to know that you do these on just Paint. XD I mean, Paint may be just enough to do character pixel art but parallexes? There's some huge talent in there. XD

Keep it up. It's wonderful to see regular work from you. ^^

It's funny you mention Phantasy Star, Reese, since IV was the first RPG I played. xD And I'll keep this thread alive with regular resources, Miss Nile. You're not a half-bad mapper yourself. ^^ I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and a mouse for most of my works though. I doodle in MS Paint at work when I'm bored xD.

Updated the OP with some new resources.

I can do requests, it just depends on the complexity of it. ^^ Like I won't be doing dragons or anything with scales for a while since it's pretty difficult to sprite properly.

I see, then how about sprites? do you also do that? If so, I'd like to request one or two if that's alright?
