Hello people
What I am looking for is a crystal equip type of script.
In my game characters learn skills from levelling up, But i would like for them to gain magic via equipping crystals.
My idea is that each character would have points that determine what they can and cannot equip.
Each character would start with 3 points and as they level up or progress through the story they gain more points. ending up at max 20 points.
Crystals have equip costs so some crystals may cost 2 naturally while others cost 3 or 4 naturally.
This is where character affinity's come in to play.
Crystals would have different affinity's. A fire crystal would have the fire affinity, A cure crystal would have the healing affinity.
Characters would have either positive or negative alignments with each affinity.
A positive affinity would reduce the cost of the crystal by 1 and a negative affinity would increase it by 1.
A healer might have a Positive affinity with healing crystals and a negative affinity to fire crystals but a normal affinity to earth crystals.
Lets say they have 6 Points and all crystals cost 2 points.
They can equip a healing crystal for 1 point, a fire crystal for 3 points and a earth crystal for 2 points. Making up all 6. or they could equip 3 different earth crystals. to make up all 6.
Or two fire crystals to make up all 6.
Crystals can be found in treasure chests and brought at shops and would just be a item.
Is there anyone that can help me out with this. If there is already a script similar can you point me towards it. thanks, Also willing to discuss prices.
