Hello, I'm new here. I was wondering how to create an animation sequence. I've watched some of Yanfly's videos on Youtube but I just don't get how to do it. Can someone help me with this? I need individual step-by-step instructions otherwise I won't get it. I want my actor to do some cool attack sequences and so far my game is coming along very nicely. I actually would love to share it with everyone here. So please, can I get some help, anyone?

This is what my in-game battles look like:

For future threads, please give them a descriptive title. It helps people to know what the query is about before opening it, and if someone is looking to find out something similar, they will see from your title that it might have an answer for them. At the moment, 'Hello' doesn't do either of those things.

Thanks.

I saw someone using this code on Youtube:
Code:
<target action>
opacity user: 0
move user: targets, front, 20
wait for movement
opacity user: 255
motion attack: user
wait: 10
attack animation: target
wait for animation
action effect
</target action>
What I want to do is mod it a bit. Like, how do you make the actor jump towards the enemy and swing and then jump back to its original location? And what is the purpose of <target action>? I didn't see this code in the plug-ins. Would <target jump> be the code to use for the action I mentioned?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
