Good Morning / Day / Afternoon / Evening everyone.

I have a request for a certain kind of script.

Is it possible to create a feature that depending on the map (in my case for example, it's a world map) your player character can only walk in a certain speed? my world map is a tad small so I'd like to have the character move slightly slower to give the map a sense of scale.

I tried implementing this with events, but unfortunately it gets overwritten after the player boards a vehicle and lands.

UPDATE NEVERMIND I HAVE FOUND A SCRIPT THAT DOES THIS. YOU CAN DELETE THIS POST.

Posts will typically never get deleted. What they serve is for information. Such as your question.
But what is better is you can mention what script it was that works for you, so that others may use the same script for the same reason.

you don't even need a script, you can change the player's speed with an autorun event on the map (set movement command targeted at the player) and you just have to remember to set the speed back to normal on all transfer events for leaving the map

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
