My request has now been fulfilled. People can still feel free to read this, if they'd like to for some reason, but I don't need the sprites now that they're in my possession and posted here in this topic. The sprites are here in this post and down below for you to use and look at. If you'd like to use them, then please give credit to hiddenone. http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/user/29318-hiddenone/

Bump. Does anyone know anywhere specific on the internet where I can request sprites and get some form of fast feedback of some kind?

For free? No. A good spriter is hard to find even when you're paying.

(For example I don't do any costum things, because I did a lot back then and nearly none of this projects is still alive. It's just one of the most ungrateful things you can do, only one person could use the stuff you do and in most cases they even don't because the project is cancelled.)

It's a lot of work you want to be done for you.

You have the sprites and they work. It would be much easier if you just ask for one or two that really need a makeover and keep the others. The more you want the less you'll get done.

But: You said, you use the character generator. There are a lot of possibilities of  expanding the generator, maybe this helps you to get nearer to the result you are saerching for:

http://umidoriya.tyanoyu.net/cb.html has parts under " RTPジェネレータ化素材NEW!!"

There's also the famitsu generator, I think it includes other stuff than the one included in ace (but I'm not sure about that):

http://www.famitsu.com/freegame/tool/chibi/index2.html

http://www.famitsu.com/freegame/tool/chibi/index1.html

There are even more somewhere out there.

There is this tool, even giving you a matching bust:

http://tkool.rgr.jp/maker

Think smaller. I mean, it's not just this, with all your requests you are asking for dozens of hours of costum work just for you.

Thanks for the links; I can certainly use these for other characters in the future, but I can't use these for what I want here. It's honestly because of the lack of customization for some of the links; the sprite maker website doesn't have tan skin as an option, to my knowledge, the hair is rather limited, I don't see brown hair anywhere, and the bust maker, as useful as I'll try to do for future characters, can't handle what I'd like specifically for these characters, who are the main characters.

Recolors are probably the easiest to do of all the things that get requested here, especially if it's pixel art. They usually get done pretty quickly.

Recolors are pretty easy; I've actually done quite a few on some of Holder's animated battlers for my game as enemies.

So why does it matter if the generators don't have brown hair or tan skin?

It's his nationality and very explicitly from what I've written that his skin is a tan olive shade. Besides, I don't feel like I should white-wash all of my characters just because those are the only options I have to choose from on a Japanese website.

I think you're missing my point entirely then. I mean, it's easy enough to change a skintone if you can use the generator to get everything else right.

No, I get you, but I still like the feeling of having sprites that were requested by me. Other people could still use them of course, I wouldn't see why not.

We're not that hard to find, are we...? I'd say it's harder to find a spriter willing to work for whats generally within an RPG maker budget.

Of course it's harder, but even when paying it's still hard. Not everyone needs a tile artist, but everyone wants a sprite artist. And I did say a good one, finding someone who's willing to do the work is much easier.

Fair enough. I've seen plenty of people in my day offering jokes with professional price tags.

Someone was actually kind enough to say that they'd happily do it for me in a week's time last night. Also, I love your profile picture, Kaijira.

Here it actually is. hiddenone made them.  http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/user/29318-hiddenone/

So in summary, I happily and thankfully got my personalized sprites. :)

Anyone can use them for whatever reason in any project, preferably if you give Hidden the credit for these, and do what you will with them; I particularly don't care whether you make them NPCs, bosses, enemies, characters, etc. I don't care; have fun with these 5 as much as I will.

I believe that my requests for sprites has now been completed. Thanks to everyone for the feedback and comment chains. Later! :D

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
