Custom Curser how?

I am trying to make a custom cursor that is next to the options and not behind the selection I found some coding that does what I want but then resets when I move the cursor. I have it in my scripts window should it be elsewhere.
Edit: should have mentioned, this is for a script I'm making, so use of curser script is not possible

There are a few cursor scripts. Would one of those work for you?
Mog Menu Cursor may be what you want.

But you haven't yet posted what (or how) is your attempt to do it.

you need to give more description on what exactly you want, especially why you don't simply change the cursor in the windowskin

I have updated the OG hopefully it's more clear sorry not thinking about this
