Custom Pre Title Scree

Hello!

I just imported a project from VX Ace to MV and was able to find plug ins to replace all of the scripts that I was using in Ace except for "XS - Pre Title." I basically need a way to flash a couple pictures and play a couple sound files before getting to the menu screen. If someone could whip up a plugin that does this then I would very much appreciate it.

Would you be willing to set up your pre title screen using events?

I'd be happy to set it up anyway that is possible. I'm just not sure how I would do that now without a plugin.

Yes, I am planning to provide a plugin that will allow you to create your own pre-title screen using events.


I was just checking in case you preferred to just have the plugin do all the work and you just had to specify the pictures you wanted.


EDIT: here's a quick video I put together for my own pre-title screen for demonstration purposes. It's a single parallel process event that shows a picture, an animation, runs some BGM, fades in fades out, etc.

Thank you very much for making this. For some reason, no matter what value I enter for the plugin, my start screen is always the page with ID01. Do you have any advice?

The plugin asks for a map ID, which is the map that the game will start on.

You can then create events to run your pre-title screen, and then make the script call

SceneManager.goto(Scene_Title)to go to the title screen.I would recommend using an auto-run or parallel process event.

This is the event I use if you need an idea

You can also replace your title screen with this map by building your title screen using events.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
