Firstly let me start by saying that I am not even sure if this is the correct forum and if not then I apologize and would someone kindly point me in the right direction.
What I am aiming to achieve is to have a custom shied slot for those of my characters who don't use shields but can utilize something else. What I mean by this; I have two characters in my game that don't use shields. One is an archer and the other will use pistols (guns).
Instead I would love to pimp them out with something else. For example: The archer can wear quivers, the pistol user could wield an off hand/side arm allowing for an extra attack. I understand the game has "dual wield" but its not really what I am after as such. I also know that the maker allows for sealed equipment slots but not types. So if I made a new type of equipment I could not put this in the shield slot if the character is not meant to use shields as to unseal that slot would mean they can use shields. It would appear the maker does not have a way to have weapons/armor to only be able to be used by a certain character; though it could be that this is false and it can happen but I just havn't figured out how.
So, while part of this is about trying to find if this mechanic can be done, which would warrant it to be in the support forum I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and perhaps see if a script exists for this type of thing. Let it be known I have seen Yanyfly's equipment slot script and while a decent script it does a little bit more than I need and I find that it bugs out on me. ( I made a "cloak" slot and assigned the tag to the cloak. It would mysteriously and randomly appear in my inventory and I could not fathom as to why this happened.)
So any help, thoughts, ideas and suggestions are very much welcomed.
