Hi i am looking for some custom sprites as well as ore/ingots.

To start off the custom sprites i am looking for are based off the dragonborn race from D&D. The only real change would be some wings added to change them from being exact like the D&D race. I am planning on having them as not only a playable class but also to have them fill a few towns in my game when the player reaches the dragon lands. I would need them to be like normal characters in the sense that they will look different but nothing to out there just the basics really. That would be thing slike merchants priests warriors archers and so on. Lastly i would need them in multiple colors such as black, red, blue, gold, silver, green, purple, bronze, white.

The second request i have is a good deal easier then the first request. The only good icons i have found for ore/ingots come from some large complied icon sets. Thing is i have learned some of the things from these sets are rips so can potentially lead me to massive trouble if and when my game goes commercial. The ore/ingot needs are simple , i need 1 icon for ore ,1 icon for ingots, and 1 icon for fuel type things such as coal. I need a variety of colors for ores such as tin, copper, iron, silver, gold, adamantite(greenish colored), zinc, meteorite(can be any color so free choice) mythral(rainbow hued silver),and draco stone(various versions based on the section of dragon land it is found from for instance red draco stone) As for ingots they would follow the same lines of coloration being tin, copper bronze, iron, steel, silver, gold platinum, adamantite, and meteorite.

sadly at the moment i can not afford to pay any one for this work so i would gladly allow the artist who creates this to share it with others if they so choose. I will also more then gladly add the artist to the credits for the game . Lastly if the artist so chose i would add them to my team as my sole artist though i am not currently seeking any team members due to not being able to pay anyone just yet.

Edit: almost forgot to mention. The artist/artists that assist me will receive a copy of the game for free.

You can try looking at the resource threads here on RMW for icons.

For starters, try looking at Avery's Icon Workshop. I spotted some crafting materials there:

thanks this is a start but unfortunately there is no ore or ingots of any sort in there that i saw but i tis a page i have not seen before. Also i have searched the forums here and the only ones i have found are in these compilations and idk who to credit or if they are accidentally rips

Yes there are - look at the section on the icon sheet called "Crafting items".  The first icon is an ingot, and then there are some ores.

sorry did not see that. the ingot would work but the other look to me like crystals more then ore of any sort. also while that ingot would work idk how to change the color to make it work for all the types.

the 2 or 3 to the right of the ingot are ores.

As for recolouring - GIMP is your friend.  If you are going to make a game and do not have an infinitely deep pocket, you need to learn to do simple edits yourself.  GIMP is a free program which does virtually all that Photoshop does.  You will have to spend a short time just messing around with it to get the hang of the basics, but after that it is, imo, very straightforward to use.

You open up your original image in GIMP.  Select the item you want to re-colour.  Then from the menu bar at the top, select 'Colors'.  For an absolute beginner, it's probably easiest to select 'Colorize'.  Move the slider until you have the hue you want.  Copy/paste it into whatever tile sheet you're using and there it is, done.

In the future be sure to actually edit the post with more information instead of making a new post. If you accidentally double post please report the post so we can fix it for you.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
