Heya! I'm new to the RPGmaker scene and I've started using MZ a little. I want to make a game, sort of a persona-like. But I don't want it to feel stale with the same old same old status effects. For reference, here's the ones I'm trying to figure out.
-Abandoned: Cannot perform any skills on allies.
-Mocked: Attacks, defense, and evasion is all halved. Cannot stack.
-Guilted: Steady damage/lowered SP over time.
-Misunderstood: Always attack last every turn.
-Worried: Can’t do anything this turn. Similar to Flinch pokemon.
-Sickly: gradual exponential damage.
-Betrayed: Thinks the party have betrayed them. Their attack is doubled, but they’ll attack at random, enemies and party members both.

Admittedly I'm very new to this, but I would appreciate any help anyone can give!
Side note, is there a discord server for fellow RPGmakers?

Welcome! Have you done the tutorial in MZ, and maybe a few off YouTube to get familiar with the editor? Most of the things you list are default features.

Default functionality. Give the state Traits that multiply Attack, Defense and the Evasion Rate Ex-Parameter by 50%. There is no stacking of states in RPG Maker.

-Misunderstood: Always attack last every turn.
When you act in the turn is determined by Agility and the speed of the skill you select. So you can probably do this by simply adding a Trait that lowers Agility far enough.

-Worried: Can’t do anything this turn.
Default functionality - the Cannot move Restriction.

-Betrayed: Thinks the party have betrayed them. Their attack is doubled, but they’ll attack at random, enemies and party members both.
Default functionality. Add a Trait with Attack * 200% and the Attack anyone Restriction.

You could do this a complicated way with the default engine - give the state a Seal Skill Trait for every skill that's "on allies." You could do it more efficiently with VisuStella's Skills and States plugin and give the skills a JS Skill Enable notetag with the condition of not having this state.

I'm not sure what this means - is SP MP? or TP? and what does "lowered SP over time" mean? If it's something like it continuously decreases the actor's max parameter, you'd have to use something like VisuStella's Battle Core with a JS Pre-End Turn notetag.

You'd use VisuStella's Battle Core with the Pre- or Post-Regeneration notetag.

I finished Partitio's final boss. While everyone else's final boss was either a human, a monster, or a human that turns into a monster, his last boss was a Train. Yep. I had to beat Thomas the Tank Engine senseless. So I guess I DERAILED Roque's evil plan. A plan to turn down 80 billion leaves (aka dollars). To become the richest man? To sell the rights to something he has already made and planned to mass produce.
Sometimes its scary to have this ability to "tune out" the world. Like... if I get 100% invested in something I'm doing, I can go like 24 hours without eating or even feeling pain. But, the moment I disengage from the activity... the stuff hits me again. It's subtly terrifying.
Is there anyone here who had a very hard video game they took years to beat as a kid? When I was ten in 2004 I got a Game Boy Advance for my birthday and that same year I got a game of "Stuart Little 2" for Game Boy Advance from my parents. That game was so hard that I literally couldn't finally beat it until years later when I was in my mid-teens! XD
