Hey there RPG makers!
I have a game I am working on where in the intro you pick the character classes of the main 4 characters, which sets their new character sprite, face and battler image as well as changes their class.
Is there an elegant way of showing the face character in the show text box without having to use conditional branches to check which class the actor is? I've only gone a few events in but realize this will be a massive addition to the amount of work to get a simple conversation done if I have to constantly check which class a character is every time.
Any ideas on how to simplify this or cut down on the times I have to edit each and every option to add in the correct face graphic would be appreciated!
