Hello so I have been using the MV for a while now and got tired of the makers battle sprites, so I want to know what program I can use to make my own custom battlers or a program that can help me convert some of the battle sprite for VX to MV.

I suggest that you work on the templates used in MV, edit them via photoshop or gimp and try to do some variations. If you want to use the older maker's battler style, you need to chop them up to work with how SV battlers are handled in in RMMV. If you're using Kaduki, its even easier, all you have to do is follow MV's pattern and chop them up.

I was using Photoshop for my battlers but its really time consuming and hard to get the right distance between each actions, I never tried it with kaduki so I will try using that and and see how it goes thanks.

Photoshop has actions though, so if you're converting something from one standard to another it's actually really great.  You just set up the action and then converting the rest is a single button press.

Oh I just looked into Photoshop about the action record, I got to say that really helps just playing around with it to get the right record really speeds things up a lot, thanks for that tip.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
