Hi, I've never posted in a forum before so please take care of me \(0v0)/

I've been having some troubles with the third part of my opening cutscene, it starts in June's room.

The brown haired scientist is supposed to come over to the guard outside the room and talk to him, he then opens the door and she is supposed to go through it.

HOWEVER, she won't move the amount of spaces I set in the move route, making it so that the entire event stops since it's impossible to finish.

She can go through the door event so I don't have to worry about that, but she won't go to the last tile. She's supposed to move one more tile to the right, it says so in the event.

I had this problem with her before when she would hit the wall outside the room instead of going up, but I changed the move route to fix it.

Now I am encountering this problem again.

The tile with the event making this all work is the first black tile to the left.

Please help!

P.S. You are able to skip the beginning parts of the cutscene in the game with skip or use the continue option and move to the left room from June's room 2.

P.P.S. The second page of the event is the self switch to end it.

Unfortunately, I do not have permission to attach the project.

Extra events that may be in her way are set to through.

Please show screenshots of both the event she stops on and the next one (the one she doesn't move on).


If that is what's happening, one of those events contains the problem.


The other option might be that the block is in a different event at the same time, but that is rather unlikely (if another event moves on the same time and freezes the game before that event has time for the last step)

All the events that she moves through are set to "below characters."

I'm sorry for causing anyone trouble!

I was able to use Andar's comment to revise the last tile she is supposed to step on.

I ended up making a conditional branch for a switch called "we leave" is on on the last page.

This made is so that at the end of the cutscene, the switch "we leave" is on, so that the last page of the after cutscene door event didn't happen until the switch was on,

I thank the both of you for your comments and sorry if this was a waste of time.

Thank you again Andar! Being a beginning I encounter a lot of problems and look through different support forums for people with similar problems, you always answer my questions through that so thank you again! \(^w^)/

Just to show where you made the mistake originally:

On the second event, only the third page would ever have been active, because it has no condition and higher page number= higher page priority.

The first two pages would never have been processed.

And that third page was NOT set to through, always making the event block other events...
