    Prologue

    Lore
    read slowly, like a book.

    "In the beginning, there was Void.
    Void alone, then I enlightened,
    now we are Three."

    Elements, the essences of Mae

    "In the beginning,
    no other brightness populated the Cosmos besides Xardias,
    nothing except Void contracted his path.
    Void was calm in his plaque endless sea,
    until Xardias began eloquent,
    Void was envious of his energy and contracted himself,
    then Urqwia appeared.
    Urqwia, the essence of something between the light and the void,
    something that the light was unable to reach,
    the wall between existence and nothing,
    lived.
    Into infinite Cosmos there were a conflict,
    not a war like human emotions,
    instead a sapient sequence of divine actions
    about the interpretation of the life,
    accurately calibrated in a conflict between Xardias and Urqwia,
    then,
    Mae has been created, from the ancient energies in ruin.
    Mae begun to thrive in the efflorescence of nature's elements:
    Earth, Fire and Water,
    until Life born:
    the Aequia,
    a bird between water essence and Light.
    Void was silent in Mae's dream,
    while Urqwia as an herald of nothing,
    continuously battled the light and then the life,
    even in new manners."

    Mechanics
    There are 4 basic elements:
    Physical; represents earth element, it's the force of what is tangible.
    Ice; represent the force of wind and cold, Water element is bond to Ice energies.
    Fire; The force of heat and vibration, excel in disrupting the energy of Ice, freeing the Water element.
    Water; Once concentrated, the Energy of Water can overwhelm the Fire force, in a subjugative manner.

    3 Noble elements;
    Life; The energy that absorb the water force and create life in the common sense(creatures, poison, acid)
    Umbra; This is the energy of the non-living creatures, as well this force can bring life to death and use what remain for his own sake.
    Light; the pure energy of light that disrupt the Non-living things and the shadows(umbra).

    1 primordial element;
    Void; is the ancient element that exists everywhere and let other elements to exist in space.

    Synopsis


    Game description
    A rpg-puzzle medieval-fantasy game,

    Why rpg puzzle?
    Some of us like particularly those battles when the enemy is immune to certain elements and difficult to kill, maybe impossible without an item or a successive list of action, well my idea works around that, using the common physics knowledge of our world and realism to implement functions doing that.
    An enemy hit by ice will be less affected by fire, an enemy hit by light less affected(temporarily) by darkness, if an enemy have wet status, using a fire skill will remove the wetness, same idea for items and item/skill combination with various configuration.


    Game resources

    no RTP resources.
    Custom tilesets, animations, skills, icons, layout.

    over 300 unique monsters(650 with variants) with different strategies to bring them down.


    200+ abilities only for the player(excluded enemy unique abilities),
    divided in
    4 tiers(techniques and mostly spells).
    This abilities aren't normal skill, instead most of those are interactive with the scenario or have particular effect thanks to scripting and deep configuration.

    crafting and synthesis system
    over 500
    (for now) unique items with strategy purposes, crafting recipes and more.
    (not simple items to sell for money.)
    not even considering armors and weapons.


    card collection system
    Collectible cards for almost every kind of monster and character plus other special cards
    and those cards are playable in a "Triple Triad" game like.

    28 unique states like sleeping, weakened, energized and more.
    28 states are too low?
    those states are interconnected and well implemented and there are others "simple" states for the common events throughout the battles.

    There will be common puzzle games around maps, enigmas
    as for the famous Final Fantasy series and similar.

    Game Characters

    There is one main "hero"(male character) that must travel throughout the grandness of Mae (the world), searching for other similar humanoids, in a grand research of knowledge to unveil the mystery that caused the world to appear such a strange living place(colorful but brutal in some way) because the sentient hostile creatures are common, it's some sort of lonely journey.
    Various "friends" will join this journey but not permanently:
    everyone have his own path but.. all paths bring to Mae.

    I'm a 29YO boy living in Italy (sicily)[yay] and I'm happy to participate here, in this forum with other passionate makers and artists.
    This is my first commercial game with Rpg Maker MV.
