Hey, I've put this plugin into my MZ project and now I get an error message when I playtest. I went down my list disabling all other plugins to find the conflict and it seems to not want to play nice with VisuStella's
Events & Movement Core.

Not strange considering they both affect movement, I guess? I have a peasant's grasp of how Javascript works. :kaoswt2: Maybe they just can't work together?

Anyway, some other info if it helps:
My VisuStella plugin is the most recent version (1.04) and I had their 8dir turned off, because I figured...that was logical, if I wanted to use Cyclone movement.
And my Corescript is v1.0.2
I'm not sure what 98% of the DevTools Console means, but I added a screenshot of the errors.

If you need any more info just let me know and I'll do my best to get it.

Or if using both of these plugins just isn't viable, let me know that instead! But I hope I've just done something wrong because I'd like to use both! Thank you!:kaothx:

Hey Hudell. Was wondering if there was a way to slightly decrease the slide effect around when touching events? Great plugin though thank you.

this plugin is great... i think i will use this plugin instead of visustella... because visustella cause some fps loss in low end computer while this doesn't. (try on laptop and got 30-40 fps with visustella while this plugin still at 50-60fps). this plugin also compatible with moghunter character effect and movement.

i found a bug though... we can 'clip' to the wall at the right.
after clipping that we can walk on top of the wall. i found this bug first time when placing your plugin to moghunter mz demo. and i can walk clip to the right wall...

to make sure it's not compatibility issue... i try it on blank project. and i drew exactly like the moghunter map. and the bug still happen...

disabling the plugins make the actor cannot clip to that right wall anymore... so i think it's not a mapping issue...

I've updated the plugin to version 1.01 now, fixing the issues mentioned on this thread and adding new params to configure the sidestep functionality.

Regarding compatibility with VisuMZ's EventMoveCore, there are some restrictions:

if CycloneMovement is loaded first:
- VisuMZ will handle diagonal movement
- Cyclone's Sidestep to avoid obstacles won't work.
- VisuMZ Region Rulings may have some weird behaviors if Pixel Movement is enabled on Cyclone (you can use the Cyclone Maps plugin for some of the rulings).

if VisuMZ_1_EventsMoveCore is loaded first:
- CycloneMovement will handle diagonal movement
- VisuMZ's "Turn in Place" won't work.
- VisuMZ's "Dash Tilt" may sometimes get blurry if Cyclone's Sidestep is enabled.
- VisuMZ's Region Rulings won't work (you can use the Cyclone Maps plugin for some of the rulings).
- VisuMZ's Common Event on OK button won't work.

nice update. now it won't clip to the right wall anymore. :D.

Hello! Any chance that this can be compatible with Galv's character frames and diagonal movement? I have sprite sheets that have diagonal movement animations that works with Galv's plugins. I also really want to use your pixel movement and collision maps from the map-editor plugin. If you added the feature for diagonal animations, that may work as well. If none of the above works, are there any other plugins that you know of that can use your collision maps? In any case, thank you for the awesome plugins!

@Hudell the diagonal movement can be slowed a bit (using a new parameter) to achieve a more natural experience?



If as a example, in a square of 10x10, the diagonal is approx. of 14 length. Now, it seems that take the same time to move 10 in line that the entire 14 length diagonal. So It could be great to slow down the diagonal movement to only move 10 equivalent lenght in diagonal. Or maybe i am wrong?

Hey Hudell thanks again for updating. I do have one more thing to ask. is it possible to decrease the event hit box? I was just wanting mine slightly smaller. Thanks for the update as it is though.

Yes, it'll be a feature on the Cyclone Events plugin.

Yesterday I made my first step towards eating more healthily.

I always told my DA fans how much I hate slot machines. They're fine in games as a risk-and-reward system. But when you're spending REAL MONEY in a Vegas casino to try and hit the jackpot (which very, very few people will), it can really hurt your budget. Took the kids to a corn maze. They gave us a map and had lights at certain points in the maze. Not overwhelming... or underwhelming... just... whelming.
Okay, vacuuming fruit flies out of the air is surprisingly effective.
