I assume it's something related to reading terrain tags, but in theory the error should not be possible.

this.centerX is not a function

error when only running this plugin.

So, I found a bug when I try to playtest my project with your plugin, can you tell me what may be happening? I'm not using any other plugin.View attachment 169902
I'm getting the same error. The console points to line 1865 in the Cyclone-Movement script ( $super.locate.call(this, ...args); ). Outputting this.centerX to console before that line shows that centerX is returning NaN.

Hi @Hudell

Would it be possible to change the stepCount via a script call? Specifically to use the default movement routes on actors so 1 step = 1 tile for them during cutscenes. I've tried some things out but nothing seems to work for me.

There was nothing wrong with the code. It's probably some incompatibility with another plugin, so I renamed centerX to middleX. Let me know if the error continues.

I'm getting a this.updateFrameCount is not a function error when I try to trigger a common event via regions.
I also tested this in a test project with only Cyclone Maps, and it's still throwing this error.
Sorry, I just realized this is the wrong thread for this.

When I have the steps per tile and Collision blocks per tile set to 4, Counters don't work. I can confirm they work without, and I am currently messing with it in a test project.

Is there a way to modify the collision mask that's around the players foot? I was hoping I could change the width of it.

Looks like I forgot to add a param for that. I'll include one on the next update of the plugin.

For some reason it is not possible to increase the distance of folloowing party members. Not sure if I am missing something. The highest possible number seems to be only 4 and text options true or false. But no matter what value I specify under "Follower Distance" the follower still sticks to the back of the leader, like that:

Are you using Chrome? Some recent updates have made downloading things a bit more difficult. Right-click the "External Link" button on Huddell's page and save-as might get you there, instead of just single left-click.

There's nothing wrong with the link for me, but if you have any issue you can download it directly from github:

Doing this will cause an invalid download.
The links to my plugins will always trigger an automatic download, but if you use the "Save as" it'll save my auto-download script instead.

Heya mister @Hudell !
I understand you're the author of Cyclone Movement!
It is quite an excellent plugin!
It is also the only pixel movement system that I've found that works in tandem with JABS.

Your terms say "free for any kind of game" and "no credits required"...
But after looking at the code under the hood, I'd say credits should be required because its pretty nice.

I'd also like to properly ask permission to include it as a tag-along with JABS.
I tried to write my own engine, but just got fed up with it because damn thats a lot of work and I had an unusually difficult time making literally any progress (shouldn't there be a default "step size" property somewhere?). I initially picked up your Cyclone Movement plugin to just figure out how it worked so I could write my own, but yours worked so well that I was like "maybe later" lol.
