@shin - My friend, you would insert it into your project, and press, F12, and play ^_^

Edit :- And start a 'New Game' :)

It modifys the battlers stats from the current weather and shows it during battle. should work with any battle system :) Im actually waiting on my post being accepted (i posted the finished script in the forums)

@ wrigty12

I finally managed to fix the issue with states not being removed properly. When your weather changes it should automatically change the stats. ^_^

Also, I cannot see any reason within yanflys script that would make the two conflict.

I would recommend having yanflys script below this one just to be safe, but it should work in unison.

Anyway, redownload the script. It has been updated with the fix :)

Actually, oddly enough, putting your script below my Yanfly scrips solves the problem (yours was above it the entire time before). Very strange indeed....

But yay! It works now! :D Thanks a bunch!

I knew it would work one way or another. We both alias the refresh method for battlers. Me in Game_Battler, Yanfly in Game_BattlerBase.

Anyway, glad all issues have now been solved. :)

Hey Dekita, another error has started popping up.

This happens when I try to open the menu. For some reason, it throws this error:

Script 'Battle Weather' line 220: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method '[]' for nil:Nill Class

As it may be different, line 220 for mine is:

   parp_battle_weather(param_id) + @battleweather_param[param_id]

There has to be another script thats conflicting with it.  I have opened the menu hundreds of times since writing this script and never encountered any issue like that.

From the sounds of the error, it is searching for data that hasnt been defined - the data in question is defined as soon as an actor/enemy is created. This would be the kind of error that would normally trigger if you insert a new script and load a saved game - where the data was never defined.

Alright, I also found it just appearing when I don't even do anything. So you think I should start over a new file, and see if the same thing happens with a fresh save file?

That would be my first solution yes :)

If fthat doesnt work, I would ask you to ensure that its not another script conflicting with it. If you are sure it isnt, then I would ask for a copy of your project - to recreate the issue, as I havent experienced this error and am not able to reproduce it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
