I used one of my templates and created a dancing couple for you to use. Only 1 pair until I can finish the other outfits. Use them for testing in a large enough stage
-----------------------------------------------
Added a tutorial for setting them up. It's straight forward mostly but if you have issues with it, let me know.
Check 'Dancing tutorial' for instructions, and 'Custom Coupledance test' is the sprite sheet used. They look weird but follow the info and it'll make sense in play testing.
When I get the complete sheet I'll update you. If I get wild, there might be more than just one type of dance
------------------------------------ Update!
Good news, added more sprite movement and back sprites for turning. This way you can to mix and match.
To make the turning have a full 2nd row animation on a 'turn' image and switch character graphic to back one. Then you can keep it turning or switch back to regular dancing. This can take time to make an elaborate dance sequence.
File is 'Couple Dance1' and attached. With the middle sprite for both characters when you switch to the 'back' image it should be a smooth transition in dance. Updated again and added even more variation.
------------------------------------ Update 2!
This the recent update I've made 'Couple dance sheet 3a' with extra dancing for dips. On the top right, two rows' set have different lady head positions. The two row beneath it have it vary to see which you like in dramatic movement. Had to do the extra to give that extra variety
Let me know how it goes. ( I set up the sprites this way but feel free to move them around if they make sense another way.)
-------------------------------------- Update 3!
Turns out me with interrupted sleep= variations complete.
Maintenance came by but with no notice so I was woken up by loud drilling and noises. Good news is I finished 15 total variations for you to use. Some in long dresses, others short.
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!
Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
