Hi! I'd like to share my music with you guys. I'm non-professional, just a sort of hobbyist I'd love to know if you use my sounds in your project.

Maker Required:

1. For my original sounds, you can use them in any RPG Maker engines and any game engines.
2. For the remastered RTP music, you can use them in RPG Makers only. I pointed to the sources of the sounds in the title (RM2000, RMXP).

• 2.1. You must own legal RM2K engines and credit Kadokawa to use RM2K sounds.
• 2.2. You must own legal RMXP and credit Enterbrain to use XP sounds.

Note: JInn3 might sound similar to the one in Final Fantasy 7, but it's from RM2003 RTP so it's safe to use if you own RM2003.

Jinn is from Final Fantasy 7. You need to mention that. Using this for a Commercial project could land someone in a lot of trouble. If there are any tracks from other games/movies/TV Please list them.

@csevans84 Oh, I didn't know that because I've not played any Final Fantasy yet. JInn3 is included in RTP2003 so I think I would be fine.

You need to change your terms in that case.
If the original of a resource is included in one Maker, then anyone who wants to use the edit is required to own that maker as well.
For that reason, you need to specify the exact maker it comes from (not only general credits) and no one can use it outside the maker family of editors at all.

Hi! I'm remastering the MEs from RMXP again, as the old ones I made a year ago are not really good.
You can download the ogg files directly from my SoundCloud, and I will upload a pack includes mp3, ogg and wav files as soon as I finish all of the 2nd remastered versions.
Also, the old version are still available, you can check them in the first post

For the terms of use:
- You must own RPG Maker XP to use these in your commercial and noncommercial projects.
- Please credit Enterbrain and me as Duc Anh Nguyen.
- The other terms are similar to those in the first post.

Also some of your music, is more likely under a CCBY3.
RTP edits are NOT royalty free for sure, since this term is used to describe two things and it is good to be avoided.
Royalty Free might mean "I won't ask for money" but it can also mean "you don't have to give attribution" or both.
I suggest you make two different terms. One for RTP edits and another under CCBY3 (this might suit you google it)
I reported this, you are not in trouble, I just want a second opinion from a global moderator or an admin on that matter,
since I myself am not sure about it.

@Dreadshadow Thank you! I will google it and change the title. Tbh, I don’t really understand the the “Royalty Free” term. It’s good to learn new things.

"royalty free" means no continuous payments after whatever initial agreement was made and paid.
If you have a contract that states "for every unit sold you pay x$ (usually cents, not dollars) to the creator of a resource", then that are royalties.

"royalty free" is NOT the same as "free" - for example all products in the Degica Shop are royalty free, but not totally free - you have to pay a one-time fee (the purchase) to gain the right to use the resource, but after that you don't have to pay royalties (no continued fees/Royalties even if you sell your product).
