Hey, hopefully you're still giving support for this script, because it's exactly what I need for my game, since there's only 4 weapons in total; I'd rather have them upgrade than make new ones altogether.

I couldn't get it working, so tested it on a new project and it worked fine. Then I added each of my other scripts one by one to find the compability issue and it kept working, but as soon as I change something (I've no idea what) in the database it keeps pulling up an error; I've no idea where I'm going wrong, as I can't think how the database would have an effect.

Have any progress been made on getting a function that will remove weapons?

Thanks again. I am loving this script but can't really use it because of that one little annoying detail.

Can you go into detail about what the paths are and what they do? I looked at the instructions and online and can not find anything about it.

comparison of NilClass with 1 failed

... what shall i do? i lov ethis script ... but this dont work -.- i start the game ... and i get a normal axe... and then this -.- pls help

Do you have any other script that can limit the amount of weapon you can get?
Extra:


Some Bug Fix for those who have some problem with the script due to some incompatible script.


1. Atk Plus = n ( Note for item )

Find:
Regexp_AtkPlus = /^(?!:M)(?:Atk\s*Plus)\s*=\s*([-]\d+|\d+)/i


Replace All to:


Regexp_AtkPlus = /(?:Atk\s*Plus)\s*=\s*([-]\d+|\d+)/i
2. Def Plus = n ( Note for item )

Find:
Regexp_DefPlus = /^(?!:M)(?:Def\s*Plus)\s*=\s*([-]\d+|\d+)/i


Replace All to:


Regexp_DefPlus = /(?:Def\s*Plus)\s*=\s*([-]\d+|\d+)/i
3.No item to Upgrade Weapon, Accidentally press a blank option give errors.

Find:
return false unless weapon.change?(item.bonuses)


Replace to:


# return false unless weapon.change?(item.bonuses)
4. Line 1035 Error?

Some Script that changes the limit of the maximum amount of weapons will not be compatible with this script, just temporary remove the limit for weapons to fix this bug

I remembered the demo have this... Not sure if it work in the newer version.

ah, well i decided to go with a different weapon growing script since this one didn't seem to have much active support. thanks anyway

It seems like this script interferes with the Atk Element fo the game.

When you change the attack element of a weapon (despite its attack damage) the weapon will do 0 damage every time.

I hope you'll try to fix this issue!

Your script should not have external popup windows, I confused this with an error, when it was like poison 0.04 for a weapon with 4% poison. Please consider fixing this. Also if your weapon, armour or item contains \c[x]name\c[0] these tags are not rendered out.

This script does not play well with mr bubbles dismantle, such a shame.

I was wondering if there is anyway for me to use this script with the 'XAS Battle System', because aparently you need to level up in order to gain weapon EXP,

and since with th3e XAS battle system, you don't actualy engage in actuall combat, but rather fight your oponents on the map itself, when you kill an oponent, you don't get any weapon exp, and thus you're weapons will never level up for you to upgrade them, i've tried creating an item taht enemies will drop which will give you weapin exp through a common event, but that doesn't work, is there a way you can make this work woth the XAS Battle System? If you can, i'm sure a lot of people will benefit from this.

I've started up Pillars of Eternity. It's interesting how the game does a "select choice" cutscene using still image art for dramatic flair. I wonder if that might work for my RPGMaker project.

I've been having a rough couple of months and as such let down some friends of mine in the RPG Maker community. I still need time to get back to my normal self, but it's nice to be back, to read articles, and to design again (albeit at a slow pace). Hope to give updates on Kid Crescent soon.
Friendly reminder that you don't have to be able to do absolutely everything. It's okay to scale back features or assets if things are too much - especially if you're the only one working on the game! And you can always add things in later. <3
