sucks being a gamer some times

id love if i had some talent for creating anything

    drawings,maps,effects,music

but if i wasnt a gamer i might of lacked interest to work on such projects

:( double edged swords hurt :(

o well i can only leave amazing things to the talented people

ill stick to easy things like making storys :D

    //

erm sorry rambled all the updates so far are amazing i love the artwork, mapping and characters(when ever a
Female can be a lead its always a  better game! : D)

id say my favorites is the necromancer :D

especially since i just played a game with 1 as a MC

and Eucliwood Hellsycthe is one one my favorite characters of all time :D

    Actually, I was planning to release DarkEnd public-demo during this week. However, recent thunder storm had claimed both my working laptop and HDD and all my recent work, (which I haven't backed up yet) is now gone. ;_;

Due to that, the public demo has been delayed for about 10 days. :(

ouch, good thing i learned when i was in middle school to always update back ups as soon as w/e im doing gets updated

you see this was the age of ps1 for me

and on that fateful day i learned what "format mem card" meant

that dam card would always ask do you wish to format all the time

and i always said no then 1 day i had a moment

ok! just do it stop asking!

having fully completed games like ff7,ff8,fft amoung other things i cried alot over it

    so many hours gone >.>

so i  always back stuff up properly :3

We are very pleased to announce that the public test-play demo for DarkEnd is finally available for downloading! :D

It features a fully playable dungeon, multiple side-quests and hand-drawn cut scenes. It has a high replay value with a total game-play hour of around 2-3 hours.

    Instructions:

    - Simply run the installation file and play the game.

    - Please run the game in Administrator mode to avoid any errors (For Windows Vista, 7 and 8)

** Since this is an early demo, there may be some bugs and grammar errors that we've missed. Please feel free to point them out! **

    Download link:

    DarkEnd demo 1.0b

Please try it out and give us feedback!  Thanks (^__^)

id have the say out of what i know about this game the skill learning system is what im looking forward to the most.

Q-would you mind if i upload gameplay of this to ma YT channel ?

i just love sharing Rpg maker content with people :D

    Edit-after a hour of playing

no glitches just some minor grammar issues

with what the fairy said and what the necromancer(if that matters) says after you destroy the crystal

as for the game itself enjoying it so far

i would suggest having someone tell you about saving

it took me a hour and 10 minutes b4 i figured out how to save lol....

also the drawings are kawaii! :D

Edit 2 finished the demo took around 1.5-1.75 hours

    final thoughts

while i am personally looking 4ward to infiniti spire more

this was a very awesome game i hope many people, try it and appreiciate the work that was done to make this.

Thanks for testing out the demo! :guffaw:

Please, feel free to upload the gameplay on your YT channel :3

W-we'll try to fix the grammar issues soon. It's hard to focus on language while making game itself as a second language user >.<  and we'll make sure to add a pointer about the save-point.

Can I ask you which character did you use and main and support? And what do you think about the game's difficulty ?

    Thanks :D

    Main=necromancer Support=Dragon girl

Necromancer i went > the darkness path for abiltys

    D girl < ice/healing

Difficulty-Not too bad,you dont have to grind much but for the crystal boss id recommend doing extra battles until level 3+

while i beat him at lvl 2 it took 20+ turns to kill him.(may be different with other ability's /characters but i had Dragon girl on guard and healing because she couldn't do any damage anyway)

Money- surprisingly easy to come buy if you take a little time to earn it.

    //

i personally like some grinding in games but much more so for optional bosses then story ones

to reward the player with awesome gear, access to secret areas and more! :D

    grinding pref

    Story stuff-none,little,+5 lvls per area

    Extra-No limit :3

Thanks, that's the nice character combination you have there. The skill learning system of DarkEnd is intentionally made to give players the total control over character building and combination according the the situations. With right set up, one can beat the bosses with minimum grinding and you just did it. :) . Beating the crystal boss with just lv 2.

Thanks for the feedback. Do tell us again if you tried out another character combinations :)

I've watched this game grow for a little while, I never had the time to critique it yet. From what I see it looks like a beautiful game with alot of effort put into it. I watched Shayoko's playthrough, a nice ominous beginning, I would love to play this game sometime.

Nice video!By the way, did you edit out the opening video or is it bug?

Thanks, this project even gives me insomnia at peak development period. Please feel free to give us your thought when you've tested it :)

    i see what you mean.

i use bandicam and had it on target mode

it must of skipped recording that for some reason

    /

i dont have any editing tool,so i must stop recording to do things off screen.

id never edit out story scenes, only grinding(which would get boring for a viewer to watch after a while)

I see. Phew* Thought it was a bug.

It would be cool, if you try it out. I will polish the demo and put the patch files out so that you can play bug-free version. (People are already reporting bugs)

A number of people have pointed out that the Serpent Gate (portal) is bugged and has a black-screen error. Plus, there are several treasure chests which could be exploited to re-spawn infinitely.
So here is the very first patch to fix the issue.

Please download it and unzip the file:
    - Put the "patchxxxxxx.rvdata2" file in /DarkEnd Demo/Patch.
Try going to different screens before using the portal (like going to the corridor of origins) and it will become functional.

    Download the patch here:

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please feel free to point out any more bugs. Thanks! (^__^)

Actually, you can still beat the demo without using portal, so many people think this was intentional. But some pointed out and I found out that I made eventing error there. Just install the patch and everything will work fine :3

Well, the chest meant to respawn only after you leave and re-enter the DarkEnd again. But in "grotto" side dungeon, you can just go one screen away and come back to respawn the chest infinitely with 100% spawn rate. Now fixed tho :3
