So I'm working on a new game lately, and I downloaded some new icon sheets and changed up the enemy stats and so on. Played around with the database. Then recently, I decided to check out a game I made a good while ago, and when playing it I realized the icons and enemy stats I used to make that game had been replaced by the database I am currently using for my new project.. How did this happen? When I exported my old game, I included the RTP Data so my friend could play it too. I thought this made it sort of a stand-alone. I am so incredibly confused and upset that my first game seems to be ruined or overwritten :'( Is this a steam cloud issue?
I'm sure my friend is able to play the game the way it was made because she doesn't own RPG maker.. or any of the custom icon sheets ect. Please help.. this is making me scared of creating new projects as it seems to interfere with my already saved games
