With @hiddenone s amazing charset and my own face and bust from two days ago we can already to a lot with the gnome: He can be an enemy, an NPC or even something like a mascot. But since most people use a SV system, the path to heroicness was so far still blocked for our brave little gnome.
Until today!

Day 7 does bring his full battle sheet, ready to join your party and show the enemies that there can be a lot of fierceness be hidden behind a squishy and cute face!

But wait, there is more!
Since the default battler seems to whack his enemies with a mushroom, I decided he should be able to do that once he joined the party! You can whack the enemies with the mushroom - even decide how rigid it is and if it omits spores - or stab them with it (don't ask me how it works) or even use the musroom to send poisonous spores as a ranged attack!
That well equipped the fierce gnome might be your new hero, if you have a spot in your team and your heart for him!

Today is Day 9, and this post is prewritten because I am out and about over night and I hope I can save the draft and post it from on the road. If this post is posted much later than usual, something went wrong ;D

Anyways, today I have some neat things for you (as usual, I hope xD):

First we have a set of icons that I just dubbed as crystals, though the two types were intended for different purposes. The gems are my take on something that could serve as an artifact in your game, or maybe something that could be used as an equipment item like a brooch or that you could use to symbolize a certain spell, probably something very magical or mythical.
The second batch are "just" icons that are intended for displaying life and mana with icons, while they also could be used to symbolize things like weapon charges :)

The second thing is a MASSIVE rework of the SF_Outside A4 and A5 sheets. Those were in the work for months, seriously, and it was really hard to reconstruct some things or to come up with something to properly replace some of these... graphic accidents. Some tiles had to be completly be remade from screatch and the difference to the default is at least in my opinion worth all that effort. There were random rock stairs on A5 that had no matching cliff at all, the red cliff was random and ugly, everywhere was dirt and some tiles just did not make sense at all! The red cliff took several trys to get right, so it actually fits the default cliffs from the non SF tiles...

Here is a before and after (you might see some differing B and C tiles as well, but those are not released for now cause they are at least months out of being anywhere close to be done):

With my Interior reworks and my exterior A3 rework we are another huge step closer on having cities that don't just all look ugly and dirty. So make sure to grab the other plug and play replacements for the SF sheets that I made before as well if you have not yet!

You know, I previously had no interest in using the SF tiles in any way.

You have changed that. I don't know if my project has a use for them, but if I figure one out, I'm definitely using your edits. They're absolutely gorgeous.

I have always ignored the SF tiles because they were so ugly I couldn't bear to think of them in my game. But these are such a huge improvement I may have to revisit that.

I am back home, glad the draft thing worked because when this is posted I have just been home for a few hours.
While I was working on this advent calendar, etanara's site went down and created many new holes in the What the MZ RTP is missing list. So I had decided to kinda remake some of those things, and was working on them before I realized I could save about 75% of their MZ things via the waybackmachine - and the oddegg char was among that as well.

While at first I was a bit mad at myself for making this "duplicate" resource, I took a very different route than etanara did plus made some extra things and here we go!

First, we have the charset. The eggs can break open to turn into the living oddegg and the oddegg can also be smashed - maybe after the fight or maybe you can use a distant way to shatter them and avoid the fight? Also be aware of the egg watching out for you!
I also thought it would be neat to have a more generic patternless version of them, and a blending on of the pattern. So maybe the one with the pattern is the possessed version of the friendly blank one? Who knows?

And now that I had that set, I felt like the oddeggs don't have to be bad at all - they could be fun little "eastereggs", sharing information with you or giving you the quest to bring them to a safe place to hatch!
Making emotions for basically a single eye was super fun, and I think it turned out really expressive for what it is!

So here we go, taking a default battler and transforming it into so much more than a low level random encounter!

Third advent sunday and Day 11!

Today we have a HUGE batch of stuff , that kinda happened one by one and piled up.
It started with these autotiles, I wanted to have some more variation and edited the trees out of the little villages and turned them into autotiles. I then continued with bascially every type of tree that I could snag from B and with something akin to the mountains on the C sheet - I kinda liked those dark brown mountains. Another Idea was to have the large desert mountain loop, so you can map a large canyon that is basically one piece.
Said and done, I rounded them out with street autotiles. Those are meant to be only mapped either 1 tile wide or high, that way they work perfectly!

Talking about worldmaps, I had quite a long time ago started on some "border wall/DIY castle" tiles for the worldmap, which I remembered working on the other worldmap tiles. I finished them, gave them the recolors to match last year's huge castle tiles and filled the sheet with some mountain edits of those neat dark mountains :3
You cab basically map the rectangle tower on the layer over the round one if you want to swap them out.

Now, you don't want those border walls to be open all the time, right? and your heroes should know whether they can pass or not!
So here are some gates and pull-up-bridges to visually show when they open and the passage is possible :3

Love seeing more World Map Tilesets. I like to have a world map in most of my games and am always on the lookout for new assists that could help make the world map more interesting.

I love these world tiles, such a minimal default amount needs boosts like these.
While I agree with everyone else about the drawbridges etc., I am particularly pleased by the sandy coloured rounded mountains, as it is going to be perfect for a more desert like area.

Time seems to fly this year, and we already reached Day 12!

Today we have again some more icons, you might know that my original MV/Z is formatted to serve as a plug and play replacement for the upscaled Ace iconsheet by Yanfly, and a few spot were still not replaced yet, like that ivy.
Generally, today is a bit random. We have a poison flakon, a peacock feather, and a lock/unlock icon.
Then some plant based things, broccoli, shallot, peppers and ivy and in the last row a solid iron equpment set for a knight.

Second, I mentioned that time before I realised I could save some of the Etanara things via waybackmachine, but generally, the only MZ horse if you don't own MV is kinda stuck in front of the cart.
Etanara probably took a same approach as I (or I as they), but since we are two different artists, our results vary. While their unicorn is basically the cart unicorn without the tack, mine does not only look a bit different in detail, but I also recolored it to match the battler more closely. I also added recolors for all my horse battlers from last year and left a blank all white horse in, in case you want to try your hand at your own patterns!
