Hello Rpgmakers,

I made a script for changing the tones on specific times of the days. This works on the internal clock on your device. Switches of your choice gets turned on or off depending on the time. So you can make events that only trigger in the night.

It supports 5 tones that you can set. These tones can be activated between hours you want. You can also turn of the automatic tone system and set those tones yourself. In totaal the script supports 27 different tones!

You can choice to use the tones in Battle yes or no.

A lot of things are configurable so you can easy it.

useTimedTone: uses your system time for the tones.

useBattleTone: uses a tone in battle.

Times when a tone should be active.

27 tones that you can set up yourself

5 switches can filled.

PluginCommands to setTones.
PluginComamans to clearTones

and plugin command to change if it timebased or if they should show in battle.

The Script

Just drop it in your plugin folder and activate it. Set the variables and have fun.

If you have any problems with it just let me know.

Hello, I wanted to change tone using plug-in commands, how do I do this? (From common event)

I am using Orange's Time System for triggering the common event.

You can change the tones with the pluging command: setTone(<Here the tone you want as a string>)

example:

setTone("Midnight_Tone");

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
