Hello guys!

I've been thinking about making a new game and for the hell of it, been considering a card/tactics style game. I've been searching EVERYWHERE for a script that might be what I'm looking for but so far, no luck!

If you want an example of what I'm looking for, it's along the lines (not exactly lol) of Yugioh: Duelist of the Roses  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RVww0iwsWg

I have a tactics script in mind that works perfectly with what I'm aiming for, but I'm trying to find out what I could do about having a deck, drawing cards randomly, summoning those monsters on the field.

I have the combat figured out from there! :D   I just need the "Deck/hand/drawing mechanic" figured out.  ;_;

I'm trying to use as much of the base game as possible so it's not too complicated. (Example: Gain so much Spell Counters [mana] per turn and use those to summon a monster or cast a spell from your hand) Was maybe thinking along the lines of maybe "Drawing" spells that either do an effect, or summon a monster.

If any of you know a script that I can use for the basis of the deck/hand/drawing mechanic, PLEASE lemme know! If you guys know RGSS3 and know a way to script this, much would be very appreciated! :) I know for a fact I'm not the only one wanting a script like this!

PLEASE and thank you!!!! :)

Oh gosh, somebody else who played Duelist of the Roses... It's one of my first games in the PS2... XD...

Do you already have the turn system in place? because I think the whole draw card mechanic will be linked with the turn start...

Well actually I forgot to think of that xD Checking with the tactics script I'm using, When you finish casting spells and completing your moves, it swaps to the opponent. So yea, it's turn based :) I've also been able to customize how much mana is gained per turn with a max of 12 (Duelist of the Roses terms, 12 levels/stars). Like I said, I have the combat/turn base/resources to cast stuff all figured out :)

Just need to know how to:

~Draw a card at the start of the turn, max hand size being 6

~Have a deck (Considering making it half the size i.e 20 instead of 40 just make battles go smoother, quicker, and fast paced.) that can be customized.

since this is highly coupled with the script that ur using to do the turns... I think you need to show us the script that you are using... I think it's at least needed to make the draw part...

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
