I'm looking for ways to make the default Attack command more interesting and I was wondering if it was possible to create a kind of combo system based on precise input.
What I have in mind: when your character uses the Attack command, if you press the action button at the moment the weapon connects with the enemy sprite you trigger a second attack.
I think I've seen something pretty similar used in a RPG MV game before but if I remember correctly the reward was a Critical and not another attack. But I haven't been able to find a plugin that replicate that function.
From that on we can imagine that the combo can get longer as the character levels-up and even unlocks finisher after a certain number of successful inputs.
Is there anyway to make this happen ?
