Default battle system

In the link is a video from the rpgmaker's youtube page showing off the rpg maker tool and it looks great .. mine however does not look like that hehe

I love the look of the faces on the blue plates and slightly slanted and mine does not even show faces . So my question is how do i make use of that? How do i make my battle screen look more like that

I have no idea,must be a private script cause I've never seen it,but I can link you to a few of other battle systems

Theres a lot more,thats just a few I've used,hopefully someone else can help you better.

The video used one of the biggest option for customization: Scripts.

There are about one or two dozen different battlescripts available that change how the battles are handled and displayed - the default doesn't have faces displayed in combat.

I don't know which battlesystem was used in the video, you'll have to check on the master script list for the links to battlescripts, and then check what they're displaying.

Yanfly's Battlescripts or Symphonia are the most commonly used as far as I know, unless you go to completely different battlesystems like on-map or so.

I'm not sure about the video or to the extent you want to imitate it, but it's relatively easy to show character faces during battle using the default system.  

You could just make pictures of of their faces and use the Show Picture command during a battle event.

I just want to point out that the battle system was just a simple edit of the default battle system. What you also would need are graphics to make it look like that. :'o

I looked up that game and yeah the battle pics looks great ill have to keep looking for some scripts that will do something close to it with out being a plane rip off
