Hey guys, I recently upgrade to MV and went through the motions of converting one of my old ACE projects using this:

Ace Script Converter

It basically exports out all the JSON data from the game and you copy and paste it into your MV data folder.

While there needed to be some adjustments, alot of my maps and events were left in tact. I've encountered one slight problem though. Any battler that once is defeated just remains frozen in spot instead of going to their faint graphic.

See attachment

I'm assuming one of the JSON files copied over must have something to do with the glitch. Anyone know which data JSON file controls the battlers? Or w/e else might be causing the battler freeze frame? ><.

I'd really not want to have to recreate the entire game all because of one frame lol

RMMV
wrong, all you should need is to set the death state correctly.

In the database, each state has SV options that did not exist in Ace, and in a converted project they can only be set to a single default, not checking specific cases.

Most probably all your states have SV Motion set to "normal", but in the case of the death state it needs to be set to Dead to change the SV-Sprite

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
