Degrading states

I'm interesting in making a state that degrades.

The longer it is on a character, the less impact it'll have and vice versa.

Does anyone know how to do this?

You'd have to force the Feature's "value" (state.feature[x].value) to change each turn, I think.  I've worked with the Feature's Value in my "Utility Scaling" script, where I set the value based on a formula or battler's stat at the moment the State is applied to a battler.  And I can tell you that what you've got in mind is definitely possible, but moderately difficult to pull off.

Unless you're adept with Ruby, you should make a request thread in the RGSS3 Script Requests subforum (or the Classified - Requests section if you're willing to pay the scripter who does it for you).

I don;t really need this thread anymore. I found a different solution. It was just a smal interest. It can be closed now
