So yesterday I played with some sprites on the title screen and I am quite pleased with what I got, but now I ran into a problem, is there a way to delay the drawing of the menu and the game title, preferably if a variable or something changes, the menu starts appearing or something like that. I would like to do this from my own plugin because I want to have a small sprite show before that I've already implemented.
I searched around a bit and the only thing I could find is one of galv's plugins that does something similar, but I can't figure it out what he does exactly.
Any tips?

do you use any function or inside the function "this.wait(frames)" ?

so it wait x frames before execute the next line?

this.wait(60) // 1 second?

we dont know how you create your title plugin, but this tiny bit should
work, but I believe there was also something else you could use
like "delay" or perhaps the fadeIn and fadeOut in a good way.

there are serveral titlescreen plugin where you can take a look at.
do this in a clean project to see if there is a option available.

If you want to customise the title screen a lot then you might find it easier to just grab a plugin like this and do everything with events:

I do not have any wait in my plugin, I mostly do the sprite manipulation in
Scene_Title.prototype.update
and when my spirtes reach a certain origin points (x,y) I have an if that checks and then stops all further sprites updates in there. If I could I would like to place a line in the Scene_Title.prototype that stops the normal flow and when I encounter the condition set up above to resume the normal flow.

Any idea if I could do that?

I did made a simple press start for the title scene, but I go no idea,
while I use a much extended version of the title scene plugin by
someone else which works nicely.

an advanced coder might know the answer to that how to approach
it while im not a advanced coder and still learn alot of things =).

so you got to be a bit patient to see who is able to help you here though.

Well boys & girls I haven't managed to find a direct solution to this and so I decided to have a little workaround.
Note: this will only work with menus that have sprite images instead of text.

The idea is to make every menu sprite fully transparent and once you have your condition met you can make them visible again. True this will still allow the player to access them, but hey smoke and mirrors man... smoke and mirrors...

1 The door of ABS map can open upon clearing all the monsters
2 Secret room/road arrow/lighting/whatever others can be shown upon clearing too
