Hello!
In this thread I'll be sharing resources I create for practice and I don't need to use. These are all free to use unless stated otherwise.
Comments are welcome! I take commissions and request btw

For Now I only have this one little ressource, this is the first tileset I've ever tried to make. As it is, it is 48x48 because I'm in love with the look of RMMV characters sprites and that's what I like to test the tiles on.

These are inspired by Greenraven's Breeze Revolution Tilesets from back in the day (RMXP), I absolutely loved those and didn't see anything similar in RMMV D:

Also tried to make a map mixing in some RTP stuff, and whaddaya know, the RTP house work beautifully with this tileset! Some of the vegetation too actually

('tis just a test, I'm no mapper obviously lol)

Thank you! The grass colors were inspired by the Breeze Tileset for RMXP which were my favorite Tiles set! I was actually thinking about making a 'cutesy' tileset like Breeze for RMMV but I don't know if there's a market for it :/

I actually didn't think about limiting myself to RMMV, thus why I didn't post in this forum. I guess I'll just create another topic if I created for VXace or XP
Update to the tileset since I was a bit bored ahah, I tried a new technique for the tree and the vegetation and I actually quite like it! I might develop this into a full forest tileset xD

UPDATE
Hey! I added corners for the dirt path AND did a water autotile, which I'm really proud of because I did NOT think I'd make decent looking water lol!
Also did some grass variation to break the pattern now and then.
I might try to animate the water sometime but the priority is on finishing the tileset with maybe some sand and a few houses. If you want to see somthing in it, don't hesitate to tell me!

The test map was done on Tiled, since my trial of RMMV is over ahah.

Thank youu! I'll try to finish it so at least there's a small outside tileset and an indoor one in this tileset!
Update:
FINALLY! I was able to figure out how to set up RMMV's autotile lol! I feel so dumb >.< It took me two hours to set up and the art was already done ... lol. But Now that I figured it out it should go smoothly
So here are the autotiles, If someone could test them out for me, that would be perfect! I tested them on photoshop and it should be seemless, but you never know :/

I also drew a new tree! I think the vegetation style is coming out nicely ... What do you think?

A final update (I think), for a while ... This is really time consuming and now I understand why there's so little completely custom, free tilesets lol! In any case, I'll finish it, just not right away xD If you have any ideas of what I should add to it, don't hesitate to ask
So today I tried (and failed) to make mountains, I was so proud of them before I realised they aren't completely seemless lol, and the top of the mountains doesn't work at all because I left some grass there :/ If someone would like to edit it to fix it, you're welcome to it! If not, I'll fix it myself eventually lol.
I also made some grass to sand and sand-to-grass autotiles (These are becoming way easier to make now! lol) and a lot of rocks/stones and small vegetation. I think I only need to make a small tree and a few flowers for the vegetation, maybe a cactus?)

For those interested, I corrected the 'mountains' autotile and made my autotiles compatible with Tiled for quick testing :3

It's been awhile! I've recently gotten back to art, and made some plants for this Tileset. Hope you like them! If you can think of something specefic for me to add to this tileset, don't hesitate to ask!
Also, I made some animated Doodas that goes with this color scheme
Next, I might try to animate the water autotile, but I can't promise anything D: At the very least, i'll try to add some animated water tiles that would go with this tileset ..

Hello!
Quick update, more of a showcase than a freebie really. Although I don't mind sharing the spritesheet if someone wants it, but who would? XD
So this is my first try at trying to make an 8 frame walking sprite from scratch. I think it's a failed attempt, but It allowed be to learn a lot (from my mistakes ahah), also for some reason there's only 7 frames, I think I deleted one without meaning to and now I can't recover it.
To me it looks like it's walking with a limp. If anyone has some advice for me, you're more than welcome!

PS: The animation is slightly sped up because I couldn't figure out how to fix the FPS for GIFs
