-cursor is changing to the lastest cursor on windows and stay stuck there
-the same reindeer horn santa outfits characters as in neosoul game lmao they look so out of place
-unable to skip opening scene
-one frame around the character is glitched everytime you turn around or use shield
-text here
-walk through horse carriage
-name with a nice standard dialogue and a second row of dialogue
-black screen for one second before it actually loads between each map
-succes
-invisible plants at 0:21:00
-lagspikes when trying to use a skill
-game crashed for no reason after trying to use a pot
-this is not a proper demo, besides the first scene and the first fight, nothing is polished properly. im not sure why you would even use rpg maker for that type of game. this being a demo for a commercial game make it even worse.

Eniko: Ghosts Of Grace Alpha Demo is Officially LIVE on Itch.io! DOWNLOAD HERE
A couple days later than expected, but sometimes life gets in the way :)

The Itch.io version is V1.1 that includes a myriad of bug fixes and improvements of which many have been reported by @rpgLord69 and @ShadowDragon. (Steam version will be updated soon too):

Improvements

  • Removed various spelling errors
  • Fixed multiple clipping and passing errors
  • Fixed multiple events that could be jumped through
  • No more jumping on people’s heads in Doriosz Crypt!
  • Narrowed the boundaries of the introduction battle
  • Shrunk some of the largest maps where possible to further increase FPS on these maps
  • Changed upgraded weapons and armor names
  • Extended the total amount of Swords to 41, each with a unique skill
  • Removed access to the current Teachings system – this will be replaced by a better fitting and more stable system in the next versions
Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that stopped treasure pop-ups from showing
  • Fixed a bug where you could move around during a part of the introduction credits (a skip-function will be added soon too)
  • Fixed a bug that stopped the gamepad controls image showing during configuration
  • Game will no longer close/soft lock when missing file errors pop-up
Balancing

  • Changed various smithing-related items names into more recognisable and logical names (Smithing Ingots)
  • Replaced old Smithing item drops with the new Smithing Ingots
  • Changed smithing costs for existing weapons and added smithing costs for all other weapons
Additions

  • Weapons can be upgraded 10 levels instead of just 4.
  • Added a unique Skill to each weapon – This system will be further developed in the next versions

the first 15min I played, there are some minor issues.

- on loading, there is always the "stamina bars" visible, serveral times.
- on the part you wake up and go upstairs, and the room far left,
you cannot go behind the bars on the left/right.
- autosave OFF still saves in the autoslot.

- stairs more jump up, and down, but you cannot directly turn up.
unless you move a bit.
- menu of the command stops on the bottom, instead reset to the top,
(I lost this code that fixed that).

- pickup item looks weird, but nice.

I need to see the rest of the mechanic, jumping, shielding etc on how
those take effect, so I come back later on that part after player further.

Thank already! Added those for the V1.2 version, the autosave is sort of intentional as I'm not entirely sure yet if i'll actually use it and how.

I found some game breaking parts (2 in 1 on image).

I got a quest to find the crabs, as well for 1 in the woods.
the first crab was throw in the sky and no crab to see, when throwing it,
it was visible, the 2nd crab, was on the face (tile to low).
the 3rd crab when I went pickup up the chest, I got stuck.

so I though -> quit game -> load game, but got an error of max Stacks.
which I place above it.

and as a side note, is zooming in battle on an enemy intended?
if so, it's a bit annoying. (sorry)

Thanks @ShadowDragon! I know the pick up and throw system is buggy, I'll definitely look into this soon.

Can you elaborate on the zooming in battle on an enemy? I'm not sure what you mean there :) Maybe send a DM to further look into this.

Sadly for me it appears that i have a garbage laptop and the game's fps are 5-10..
But i will gladly watch a walkthrough on youtube when it is fully released!
Keep up the good work dev!!

@TheRamenGirl Thanks but oof, that's really low. Even my crappy 6 y/o 4gb ram laptop can do 25-30fps. Could you share some details of your system (OS, ram, graphic carc, ...) in DM?

Increasing FPS is one of the main points we keep working on to improve. V1.2 has improvements again, but's it's a longterm ongoing process.

I'm still undecided weather or not I should add minor swearing to my game. Like I'm going for an all ages demographic... but the idea of a cartoon character saying dammit, hell, or crap in normal conversation is really funny to me.
If we assume an Elf's strong suit is Dexterity (AGI) & Intellect (MAT), I imagine Strength (ATK) & Constitution (DEF) would be among their lowest stats. But I'm having a hard deciding which should be lower, Strength or Constitution?
I'm really sorry to have to do this, but I'm going to have to start blocking those who repeatedly put up sexual content and offer absolutely nothing (that I've seen) related to what this community is supposedly created for.
Don't take it personal. I'm a rape victim with permanent injuries who can never enjoy 'it' ever again, so it's the last thing I want to have put in my face. :(
