I literally need a fix for my own project- enemies will only drop dead on 0 HP when the attack sequence is over, even if the enemy reaches 0 HP prior the second attack- it will not die until after.Enemies die the instant their hp reaches 0 now,
How do you accomplish that actually? Given the plugins I am using the enemy sheets only retain there 3 frames for damage and death which are pretty much static images of them instantly on the ground- not throwing themselves dramatically on the floor, I do however have the enemies cycle randomly on various copies of sheets with different corpse sprites.I've also added multiple, gruesome death animations for each enemy!
Music certainly adds a great touch- I've been pretty much lacking in this department- music isn't my forte and I am skeptical on getting outside help on these for various reasons. The soundtrack is coming along nicely too, I have a lot of music from Speed Machine and other great artists.
You can always ask magnus0808, the one that did my scripts, it's likely they can help you out.I literally need a fix for my own project- enemies will only drop dead on 0 HP when the attack sequence is over, even if the enemy reaches 0 HP prior the second attack- it will not die until after.
I'm using Yami's Sideview Battler plugin for the extra frames, for the deaths I have multiple of the same enemy and I assign each one of them a unique death animation using the pluginHow do you accomplish that actually? Thanks for the encouragement. I can relate to the creative struggle, I've gone long periods when I just haven't the time to work on the game or there's an problem I can't fix. I'll never give up though, when I'm at my boring day job I use that time to think of new ideas and how to improve things. I hope you find your motivation again.Looking forward to a release to see this unfold, seems alot more progress made than I can muster.
