deploy issues on Mac

I deployed a game to Mac OS, found some issues :

1 Large file size

a mac app built by RMMV 1.6.2 sizes more than 800M, when open the package, I find a "Versions" folder costs 500M. is this normal?

2 The read-only issue on Mac Mojave

Saving game or settings causes an error when played on Mac Mojave, saying "/private/var..." folder was read-only.

How could I resolve this?

Or just because im not a certificate apple developer?

you need the save file relocation plug-in for Mac because the save is an issue when deployed from window OS to Mac.
as for the size, it might be correct when its a very different OS than Windows System, so there are files added which Window OS
doesn't have.

thanks for reply, but I use the RMMV Mac version deployed the app, so maybe nothing with windows?

The RMMV-Games are HTML5-games, which means they need a browser to run. That has absolutely nothing to do with Windows, because RMMV does not need a single file of windows to run. But it does need a browser for the operating system it's targeted at.

nwjs is basically that browser if you select to deploy as non-web standalone.

So your project data is one thing, but on deployment to windows or mac or linux, that nwjs gets added as a full browser program to create the standalone - yes, nwjs does get added to windows deployment as well.
The size of nwjs is different depending on the operating system so I can't tell if anything went wrong with the size or number of files on that one, but the existance of a large nwjs folder is not wrong.
