Hi everyone !

I would have liked some help (or the solution if you have it :p) to display the description of the items that we gain during a fight.

I am using Victory Aftermath (YEP) (http://www.yanfly.moe/wiki/Victory_Aftermath_(YEP)) which allows to modify the display of gains of the objects. Although you can move the cursor from item to item, there is no window that shows the description of the objects.

I managed to bring up the "windowHelp" using a " this.showHelpWindow() " and by adapting the sizes of the boxes but impossible to display anything inside.

Thank you for your time.

it wasn't added to begin with which is a shame for most games, to see what it does.
however, the items gained is still readable in the inventory if something is new.

to read new items directly afterwards is a nice idea, creating the function of the
showHelpWindow is 1 thing, but if you dont code what should happen, it does nothing.
you need to tell it what to show inside the window.

there can be a mini plugin to show this description, or if you know how to code, add
it, how the item description is shown in the helpwindow can be found in the core
and in other plugins how it's done, so you can add the function in a few parts to do
the same thing or let it make if you dont know how to code or not much :)

anyone else 'round here gonna be doing the retro game jam that's starting in a few days on itch.io?
I also wanted to say that my bro brought back nostalgia and got me a GBA SP for my birthday! Ah, the memories of Pokémon Sapphire and LeafGreen! It came in a gray shell but he ordered a red one so it'd look like the one I had as a kid. It looks brand new!
