Not sure if this is the right place to put it, but here goes.

Are you thinking about getting the DLC for VX Ace or MV: Animations Pack II Quantum? I bought it and would like to share my experience.
Let's start with pros and cons.

PROS:
  1. Very high quality animations
  2. Reasonably priced
  3. Easy to place in game
  4. Smooth and fluid
  5. Contains a wide variety
  6. A must-have for sci-fi RPGs
  7. Two versions: 30 FPS and 60 FPS
CONS:
  1. Not good for a fantasy RPG at all
  2. No elemental animations, so no skills like flamethrower
So as you can see, I really liked the animations pack!

Now, animations it entails. I may add more detail to this later.
  • Slash (with an "energy blade")
  • Bow (as in a hard punch)
  • Shot with a gun
  • Cleave with axe or massive claws
  • Swipe with claws
  • A simple hit animation
  • Rapid fire to one enemy
  • Explosion
  • Repair (like a heal)
  • Maintenance (another heal or a skill activation)
  • Delete - an instant kill or a teleport
  • Scan Enemy one of my favorites
  • Virus - hard to describe, looks like purple squares floating around
  • "Logic bomb" (basically a more advanced bomb)
  • Bind (paralyze)
  • Unchained (animation looks like bind but quivers a bit, than explodes)
  • Barrier
  • Barrier break
  • Accelerate (clock moving slow then speeding up)
  • Decelerate (clock moving fast then slowing down)
  • Stasis (clock standing still)
  • "Star" skills - heal, aura, flare, and two versions of burst
  • Black hole

IS THIS PACK FOR YOU?
Then you should definitely get this, no doubt.
YES.
This animations pack will likely work well in your game.
YES.
Then you shouldn't get this. You should get Animations pack I.
NO.
These animations are great for an abstract puzzle game, but the other animations pack might work better.
PROBABLY.

And here is how I would rate this DLC!
5 Stars

Very important - when using this pack, set the animation blending setting from Add to Normal. If you do not, the animations will not work properly.

So overall, I am very satisfied with what I got and would recommend this to others!
Like this post if my review helped you

and I may make more product reviews here in the future.

How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
