So in my game, there's a little minigame where you log onto the computer and play on a farm. You'd have to buy seeds and chicken feed etc to run your farm. Now I have a little problem. I don't want the player to spend their "real" money on the in-minigame objects. Is there a way to have two or more currencies in the game at once?

RMMV
Off the top of my head, I'd say the easiest way would be to have it as an item and increase/decrease the number of the item accordingly. However, there may be another and I'm sure someone could write a script for it (but whether they will is an entirely different question).

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now until I can find a script for it.

If you don't want to use objects visible in the inventory you could always use variables instead.

Just put in a few microtransactions and you're done! No need to keep track of all those silly "free" in-game currencies! You won't have to worry about them using their main in-game currency either! It'll all be based on the real cash in their wallet! They'll be throwing money at their screen! So make life easier for yourself and just setup an overly complicated and highly hated microtransaction system!

But no seriously, I did find this with some googling. You can have multiple currencies and it also has a shop addon that supports them.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
