Different Cutscene same place

How do I make a cutscene that takes place where a previous cutscene happens? My character goes to the library and must talk to the king again, but i can't make another cutscene play. Please help

you have to trigger a switch to disable the previous cutscene (namely a new event page) and then you need another switch to trigger the next cutscene.

If you are new and you are not able to understand what I am saying, I strongly recommend taking a look at Andar's tutorial (the link is in my signature). It is a very well made tutorial that explains how to properly use events. Unfortunately, there is no way I can make it more simple than this, as what I mentioned is already the very basic information you need. However, the tutorial I mentioned should definitely be able to help you to get a grasp on the meaning of my previous message.

We need to know your current knowledge about eventing. Do you know switches and variables?

Like everyone else said, the answer is conditions. You can use Switches and Variables as a condition for an event to execute itself.

Yup you seem able to run an event. All you need to do is to add the control switch command at the end of it turning a switch on. Than you have an second event, or a new event page which runs if that condition is fulfilled.

Also after both is done it is useful to turn a selfswitch on, and than create another empty side of the event which runs if that is fulfilled and finally set the activator to action button.

That last action is neccessary to turn the events off. Without that the game could get slow or even freeze. Especially if you use automatic events.

Finally, i would consider an Totorial video on youtube about evets, if you dont get what we´re talking about.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
