Disabling red fade on defeat

Like the title says: Is there some way to disable or get around the "Flash red and fade" effect that happens when you defeat an enemy? I've looked through settings and plugins and whatnot but I can't seem to find anything that does this.

The functions you are looking for are listed in Sprite_Enemy (rpg_sprites.js) and are named "startEffect"/"updateEffect" for effectType "collapse"/"bossCollapse"/"instantCollapse".

Cheers for this! I'll have a play around with the scripts and see if I can't modify it to suit my liking!


UPDATE: Was able to disable this fairly easily by simply deleting the scripts after these effects. Thank you for the help!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
