Display face graphic of party leader

I need the actor who is the party leader to speak at a particular point.  The text is no problem, I use \n<\P[1]> and the correct name comes up in the way I've set it up for the message box.


However, I cannot see a way to ensure that the correct face graphic is displayed.


Can anyone tell me how this is done?

not possible by default (unless you're using conditional branches with different show texts), but it has been asked and needed so many times that it is basically a feature added by almost any message script for Ace.


you basically have three choices:


1) request a tiny script for only that if you think you might have compatibility problems with one of the larger messaging scripts


2) use Yanfly's Messaging System Script


3) use Modern Algebra's Advanced Text System series


In my opinion MA's ATS series has more options and more utility, but because it is less known there is less support for it.


Yanfly would be the better option if you have a lot of his scripts already, but it has a lot less utility (for example the ATS series allows for animated faces and has more options when using "show choices")
