Display images in-game from a hosted source outside the game

Greetings and salutations.

First, I'd like to offer a preemptive apology in case my request already has a known answer. I tried searching for it on my own but either my google-foo has failed me, or my request is simply not possible.

There are some seasonal display changes I'd like to make throughout the year without having to re-compile and re-issue the game.

My question is this;

Is it possible to display an image in-game which is hosted from an outside source (i.e., a web-domain)?
