Not sure exactly what you are trying to import without more information, but most resources can be imported by going to Resource Manager. Some resources might need to be properly formatted first.

Umm, okay, well, if you have a complete, correctly formatted tileset, you can do as I said and use the Resource Manager in Ace to import it. Then you would need to go into the Database and set it as a tileset.

If by chance, the tileset is one you purchased in Steam, once you go into Resource Manager, there will be a button that says DLC. You will need to click that. But that is only for packs purchased on Steam.

If you have pieces of tiles or icons or whatever that need to be added to an existing set, you will need to use a program such as Photoshop or Gimp to cut and paste them into the existing tiles.

This tutorial gives more info on how to do that. http://rmvxace.wikia.com/wiki/Combining_Tiles_in_Gimp

Let's take it from start.

DLC Balloon Icon Set, Window

1 ] Which DLC?

2] What do you mean window?

3]Baloon Icon set can be imported into a certain folder I just cant remember the correct one. Read this reply after 20 minutes, I might edit it. Put it in System Folder.

In my game Events, on the final tutorials, I show you the database.

One tab of the database, is for Tilesets.

You set sets of tilesets there.

Then you go and select map from the down left region of the program, right click on it, and in the properties of the map, you can select a tileset from the database.

Play Events and study those tutorials. They will help you on further questions on Tilesets and passability (I sense this question coming on) and also check @Andar's tutorials in my signature if you don't like my tutorial game ;) He made fantastic articles!

Actually... here take the link:

http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/14727-a-starting-point-for-new-users-v10/

Except if you wanna MERGE the files together to make a same size collection of some of the tiles of both DLCs. In that case @mlogan nailed it.

Nacoles, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

The editor has a help file (F1) that tells you about the resources.

By default, you can only have one iconset and one windowskin. If you want to replace the standard ones with the DLC ones, you can either use the Resource Manager to import them into the System folder, or you can copy them directly into the Graphics/System folder - do not change their names. However, if you DON'T want to replace the standard ones, but you just want to ADD to them (iconset only, you can't add to the windowskin), you will have to export the default one via the Resource Manager into your project's Graphics/System folder, edit it using an image editing program that allows transparency (like GIMP, Paint.NET, Photoshop - NOT MS Paint), increase the length and copy your new icons in.

For tilesets, it's similar, but you can have many tilesets. Import them using the Resource Manager or copy them directly into the Graphics/Tilesets folder. Then you'll have to go to the Tilesets tab, create a new tileset, and insert your images into the slots. This is very important - make sure you insert them into the correct slots - All the A slots are different layouts and behave differently in the editor and in the game. The images usually indicate, as part of their name, which slot they belong in :)

Just take some time to see what forums there are, so you know where to post things, and read the forum rules, which can be accessed from the bottom right corner of every page, to see what we like and don't like. And don't stress ;)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
