I have a boss that I want to trigger a second form (with accompanying cutscene) upon death. However, If I kill it the battle just ends. If I make it immune to death, the cutscene plays out fine but I can't get rid of the first form (causing both forms being fought simultaneously).

Is it possible to not end the battle when the current enemies die (without scripting)?

or Is it possible to kill something that is immune to death with a battle event?

Thanks in advance

Just remove immunity to death afterwards

Is it possible to do that without scripting? Since the death immunity is a feature rather than a state.

EDIT: Actually I realised I just answered my own question xD

RMMV
You can transform enemies into different ones.  Just make sure to heal it because it keeps the same HP.

Like Espon said, you can transform enemies during battle.  So just make a blank enemy with no graphic and transform the enemy you want to hide into the blank one.

You can also hide enemies with the script call

Code:
$game_troop.members[i].hide
Where `i` is the ID of the troop member.

O.k easy fix, The battle processing event allows for 2 options extra (continue if loser and escape) check continue when loser and put game over (option in third menu tab in scene control) in it. under win put the cutscene you wish to play then put another battle processing with the enemy you wish for the player to battle next and if he has a third form do the same thing but with the newer enemy. easier than scripting, i hope this solves your problem...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
