Do you care about "bulk items" for immersion?

Hahahaa. We all appreciate detail, but isn't the truth to immersion that you only notice it when it isn't there?

It's a little unclear to me whether "bulk items" are what I call "vendor trash" or whether they are items you literally can't pick up, but either way, this kind of mechanic doesn't really affect how much I enjoy a game.  It's just kind of there.  It doesn't immerse me much more, nor does it cause me much frustration.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
