Not really hate loosing but I tend to avoid it. Keep in mind that we will be more aware of our shortcomings when we loose. It's how you learn from your lost and bounce back strong. That's what champions do.

More serious response.
Huh. I would have actually had a shred of respect for you if you were actually serious about being arrogant.

The question should be framed as follows -

"Who does like to lose?"

Who the hell does not?!

I rarely of ever play multi-player games to win, including board games. I just don't care. I play to make sure everyone is having fun. Except cludo, but I have epic cludo skills.

I don't consider winning to be the object or to say anything about me. It's just not required. Winning gets in the way of enjoying the company of others, I find. When I play to win I lose things to talk about because I am hiding my plans. It's just not as much fun. I would rather look for ways to work with my fiends and family than against them.

I used to take losing very hard. I'm not entirely sure what changed. I think I may have become a more secure petson in my 'old' age. I think used to think that people would judge me if I didn't pay to win. That it said something about me as a person. I'm not sure though. Eh, it had been a while.

Single player game? It is on.

I don't play competitive games, I hate getting hate mail after matches so I stopped playing. If your winning means someone else has to lose then that's not a game to me, it's a sport. And sports arn't fun... I don't watch sports, I don't enjoy sports. I play games.

So in that manner I hate losing and winning....

Now single player or Coop games, it depends on why I lost. If it's due to a broken game mechanic then yeah, I've been known to throw controllers through TVs. If it's because I personally ****ed up or didn't plan properly then I'm totally fine with it.

I play a lot of raid games and it's not uncommon to lose due to poor planning or the occasional bad choice in action so this is something I'm used to.

I really don't think you can redefine the definitions of sports and games... they sort of already have meanings.

The only time I hate losing is when playing online and my team is made up of absolutely horrendous people and all you hear is non-stop trash talk.  It's why I stopped doing PvP in MMOs and playing games like LoL.
LoL was always a bad game to begin with.

It's worst than the community on Rumble Fighter(OGPlanet).

PvP isn't so bad in Mabinogi when you get used to it.

I actually don't mind losing in it since PvP is only for fun, there's no other reason to take PvP seriously since you get nothing out of it.

- - - On-Topic - - -

It depends on what I'm doing if I hate losing or not.

Not really, I played sports when I was a kid and losing never really bothered me. Frustrated, sure, but never hated it. And I play a lot of strategy games (like Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Dwarf Fortress, etc.), and losing in those games is a pretty natural thing.

In general I don't like losing but I can bare it. Interestingly enough if I'm going to lose in a strat game I generally fight to the bitter end rather than, force quit.

I dislike losing, but I don't take out my anger and frustrations on other gamers and usually I am just disappointed with the outcomes.

According to some article I've read, losing in a PVP game/sport will decrease testosterone. Winning does the opposite. Losing to other people may lower a man's health. Winning a fight/battle makes you more of a man (really). Losing in a high stakes PVP is bad for you. Depression may follow, hair may stop growing, something may shrink (ego), ETC.

Everyone should hate to lose. Who wants to be a loser? Sure isn't me. I don't hang around losers personally.

I definitely don't like to lose unless i'm being super casual, but 95% of the time i'm a super competitive player. I usually prefer 1v1s in my games where applicable. (Cause obviously things like Dota2 is teamplay only)

@Hybrida I totally agree lol.

I enjoy losing as long as there are no harmful consequences at the end.  It teaches respect and can encourage me to find new ways to succeed.

You know, I consider someone who gets upset about losing in a leisure activity much more of a loser than someone who knows how to have fun win or lose. Do I generally want to win when I'm playing something? Of course, I do play to try to win. Do I really care that much if I don't? Not really. I mean if I'm playing a 4 player board game, the chances are I won't be the winner all the time.

In League of Legends, players are really scary when it comes to winning or losing. I got reported 4 days ago for misusing a skill during the 4 first seconds of the match and the skill had really no use except damaging AI minions.

I feel as though players in video games are waaaaaay too serious with the concept of winning a pixelated game in where you get no benefits from except enjoyment.

I'm the fair loser in my family. I don't complain or smash my controller in anger when I lose. Sometimes it's frustrating, yes. If you play alone and lose, because you did something stupid.

But so far I've never had an angry outburst just because I lose. I even admit failing or doing failures. It's part of life and gaming ^_^

I consider not being able to bear losing one of the worst flaws a person can have.

It either makes people stop competing and improving at all, or turns them into black holes of obsessiveness that suck the fun away from any activity.

(Of course, I'm being extreme, but it does generically work that way)
